As a homesteader, life can be wonderfully full but also incredibly demanding. From tending to the garden and caring for livestock to maintaining the household and managing family needs, it can often feel like there aren't enough hours in the day. Despite the busy schedule, one aspect I've learned to prioritize is meal planning. Ensuring my family eats wholesome, homemade meals is important to me, and I've found ways to make this manageable even with the myriad of tasks on the homestead. Here’s how I find the time to follow my meal plan for my family.
Embrace the Power of Planning
The cornerstone of success in meal planning is, unsurprisingly, the planning itself. I dedicate time each weekend to map out the week's meals. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
